Scope of Testing

Concrete and Concrete Mixtures

Sampling, preparation, and testing of concrete mixtures and hardened concrete specimens, including determination of compressive strength, water impermeability, freeze-thaw resistance, and other characteristics within the scope of accreditation.

Concrete and Reinforced Concrete Structures

Field and non-destructive testing of concrete and reinforced concrete structures — assessment of concrete strength by the rebound method using a Schmidt hammer, as well as drilling, preparation, and testing of concrete cores.

Aggregates and Road Materials

Determination of particle-size distribution, dust and clay content, resistance to wear, and other characteristics of aggregates and road materials.

Soils and Granular Subgrades

Laboratory and field testing of soils and granular subgrades — determination of the dynamic deformation modulus using a Light Weight Deflectometer (LWD), along with laboratory determination of physical and mechanical characteristics.

Asphalt Concrete

Testing of asphalt concrete mixtures and cores to determine composition, density, degree of compaction, layer thickness, and other characteristics.

Ready-Rolled Ferrous Metal — Reinforcing Steel

Tensile and bend testing of reinforcing steel specimens and determination of the relevant mechanical characteristics.
