Engineering and Quality Group in Georgia LTD was established in 2010 and provides testing services for construction materials and structures.

Our services include sampling, sample receipt and registration, laboratory and field testing, and documented reporting of results.

What We Test

Within the current scope of accreditation, we test the following materials and objects:

• sand, sand-gravel mixtures, aggregates, and road materials;
• soils and granular subgrades;
• concrete mixtures and hardened concrete;
• concrete products;
• concrete and reinforced concrete structures;
• asphalt concrete mixtures;
• ready-rolled ferrous metal — reinforcing steel.

Field services: non-destructive assessment of concrete strength by the rebound method using a Schmidt hammer, and determination of the dynamic deformation modulus of soils and granular subgrades using a Light Weight Deflectometer (LWD).

How We Work

Each assignment begins with a review of the client’s requirements and identification of the required tests. Depending on the assignment, the laboratory performs sampling or receives samples supplied by the client. Every sample is registered and uniquely identified before testing is performed in accordance with the applicable standard, approved method, and the laboratory’s quality management system.

Testing is carried out using equipment with an appropriate status, with internal quality control and traceability of results maintained throughout the process. Completed results are provided to the client in a test report. Field services are available throughout Georgia.
